This scheme is about more than insulation – it involves a range of improvements throughout the home that will help to save energy, lower bills and cut carbon emissions.

VAT cut on insulation*

Good news for your energy bills. For the next five years, there’s zero VAT on installing energy saving measures such as insulation, solar panels and heat pumps. That amounts to 5% off the upfront cost of installation plus savings every year.

Good news – new ECO funding is on its way

We’re pleased to hear that the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and the Chancellor of the Exchequer have now confirmed funding for ECO4. The scheme will encourage householders to look at a ‘whole house’ solution that goes beyond installing insulation.

UK homes face higher bills

Householders are facing a winter of higher fuel bills after a sharp rise in the wholesale market price for both gas and electricity. 11 million UK households on standard tariffs could see their bills increase by £139, while the average bill for those using prepayment meters could rise by around £153.
